A fellow fibre artist and sewist brought this to my attention recently:  garment workers live horrible lives.  This site exposes how Cambodians are exploited and live in poverty, often starving to death, as the fashion retailers reap big profits.  Please click on the image and discover what that dress, or tunic, or any item of fashion that you purchase, may really cost in terms of human misery.
